Good & Evil By Miranda J. Gardner

Project type

Essay

I believe the kindest person
commits bad deeds
because they
are human.
Okay, cursing is not
the best way to respond
to being angry.
but cursing doesn’t
make the curser a
“bad person.”

They can still
be kind and do good
deeds even after
shouting a “profane word!”
“Just no cursing God’s name
in vain” says
Mother Theresa. Though it’s a sin to steal
when one is hungry,
it’s within a human’s
nature to find a way
to survive.

Mother Theresa spent her life
feeding the hungry and
caring for the sick.

She had doubts
there’s a God
because of all the
pain and suffering in
the world!
I’ve had my
doubts too.

All at once, the most evil person
will commit a good deed
and feel good
about it.
Hitler is an obvious example
of an evil person.
Yet, he loved animals
of all shapes and
sizes.
He’d be distraught
at a dog beaten
in the street!

Yet, he’d laugh in the face
of a Jewish person
killed in front of him.

Hitler was an advocate
for creatures great
and small.

And is responsible for the
mass murder of millions
of innocent human beings.
He was beyond unkind
he was demonic and
evil incarnate.

In the end he won’t be
remembered
for his kindness to
animals.

He is remembered
for the mass murder of
millions of innocents crying and
begging for mercy.
He is remembered for
one of his last acts: poisoning his beloved canine

then himself.
See, no benevolence
afterall.
