Penny Dreadful (Short Story)

My final for English 519: Victorian Gothic Literature, taught by Professor Seth at Central Washington University, is in the fall of 2023. This penny dreadful combines my love for Halloween and Christmas and my favorite characters from the best Victorian stories ever. This includes Bram Stoker’s Dracula, The Turn of The Screw by Henry James, The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson, “Christabel” by Samuel Taylor Coleridge, and Varney the Vampire and the Feast of Blood by James Malcolm Rymer and Thomas Peckett Prest.
